How to Replace the Battery

To replace the battery, once you open the hood, remove the rubber seal and then the plastic cover protecting the small compartment in the engine bay near the windshield. Now disconnect the battery cables by loosening the respective terminals. To remove the battery, you need to unscrew the screw at its base. The space is tight, as you can see, and it's advisable to use a fairly long wrench. Insert the new battery, repositioning the mounting bracket correctly. At this point, reconnect the cables by tightening the terminals and close the compartment with the protective cover and the seal. Car model: Audi A4 B6 Year: 2003-2006
Required tools: 10 mm socket wrench, hex wrench with extension.
