To replace the timing belt on an Audi A3, you need to open the bonnet to access the components located within the engine bay: on the left side, under the appropriate panel, you will find the belt around the respective pulleys. By removing the front right wheel and the corresponding wheel arch liner, you can loosen the central nut of the tensioner pulley and reduce the tension on the belt: it can now be removed and replaced with a new spare part, refitting all the components that were just removed.
