Grip the base of the boot firmly, exactly where it is anchored to the rest of the vehicle, and lift it upward to detach it. Next, remove the tie located at the top of the boot, where it is secured to the shift lever. This will allow you to pull out the entire knob, including the boot underneath. Now, perform any necessary replacements and reinstall everything by simply following the reverse steps for reassembly.
