In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the outside rearview mirror on an Audi A6, a very simple and quick operation. First, open the door you will be working on, then remove the window switch console and take off the panel.

Next, remove the inner cover of the mirror, disconnect the adjustment motor connector, and unscrew the single mounting bolt with a 10mm XZN wrench. At this point, you can separate the mirror from the door, position the replacement if needed, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
