In this guide, follow the steps necessary to remove and replace the exterior rearview mirror of the Audi A6. First, open the front door and start removing the door panel by unscrewing all the mounting screws and disconnecting the power connector for the window switch; then remove the triangular cover of the mirror by unscrewing the screws located underneath, as shown in the video.

At this point, disconnect the electrical part of the mirror to remove it; replace it with the new one and reassemble everything!
