In this mini guide, you will discover how to correctly replace the button battery located in the key of your Audi A3 second generation (2008-2010). First, purchase a new lithium button battery (model CR 2032) and ensure you have a flat screwdriver available.

Then, use the screwdriver to open the key cover and remove the old, exhausted battery.

Finally, insert the new battery and reassemble the rear cover correctly.
