In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the fuel door actuator on an Audi Q5, a very simple and quick operation. In case of failure, first open the trunk and remove the right side panel of the cargo area.

Then locate the indicated red cord and pull it toward you to open the door. Once done, unscrew the single fastening screw of the plastic frame, remove it, and disconnect the actuator from the frame.

At this point, simply disconnect the connector and follow the reverse procedure to install the replacement.
