The Start and Stop system can be disabled on Audi A1 vehicles by pressing the appropriate button located on the central dashboard near the onboard computer display. However, if you want to disable the system permanently, you will need to make a modification to the vehicle.

To do this, you must purchase the "modification module" online or at auto parts stores, as it serves to reverse the system's activation when the vehicle is started. To install the modification module, remove the cover of the START&STOP button, disconnect the connector, and connect the module between the connector and the system.

Once installed, test the function.
