To replace the timing belt on an Audi Q3, lift the vehicle and completely remove the right front wheel from its housing. Once the wheel is removed, loosen the screws that secure the inner fender.

This will provide access to the screws that hold the tensioner pulley. By completely removing the tensioner, you can reduce the tension on the belt, remove it from its housing, and install a new replacement part.

After the replacement, check that the engine runs correctly.
