Replacing the Air Filter on the Audi A3

Let's see how to replace the air filter on the Audi A3. Open the engine bonnet and detach the plastic cover bearing the Audi logo. Using pliers, loosen the inlet and outlet clamps of the filter housing to remove the hoses.

Rotate the box upwards and unscrew the three screws securing the cover. Using a screwdriver, loosen the four clips and open the cover.

Remove the old filter element and replace it with a new one, then refit the cover and secure it with its screws. Reinsert the box, connecting the hoses and tightening the clamps with pliers, and replace the plastic cover with the logo.
