Engine Oil and Drain Plug Replacement for Beta 300 RR

This guide describes how to replace the engine oil on a Beta 300 RR. Obtain 1 litre of Motul 7100 SAE 10W40 oil and a magnetic drain plug with O-ring Beta 006081528000. Position the motorcycle on the side stand. Start the engine, let it reach temperature, and turn it off. Using a ratchet and a 4 mm Allen socket, unscrew the two screws of the skid plate.

Place a container for used oil disposal under the engine. Open the oil filler cap. Unscrew the engine oil drain plug located at the bottom right side of the engine using a 13 mm spanner.

Allow the oil to drain. Refit the new oil drain plug and the skid plate.

Unscrew the 8 mm breather plug located to the right of the Beta logo on the casing. Pour in the oil from the filler and close the breather plug.

Start the engine for about 10 seconds and turn it off. Unscrew the breather plug again and let a few drops of oil escape, then refit it.
