To change the engine oil on a BMW F 900 R, you will need to remove the drain plug located at the bottom of the bike. Once this is unscrewed, you can collect the oil in an appropriately positioned container. When all the oil has drained out, you can also remove the oil filter located next to the drain plug to replace it with a new one. After replacing the filter, top up the oil by pouring the new oil through the designated filler hole on the right side of the bike.
