To replace the air filter on a BMW F 900 R, locate it: it is situated directly beneath the handlebars, between the forks and the fuel tank. To remove it, simply unclip the protective cover to which it is attached. The cover can be easily removed by pulling it towards you. You may need to move some cables that could be in the way. Once the cover is removed, pull out the filter from its housing. Then, insert the new filter into the designated slot and seal it with the cover.
