To replace the air filter on the BMW F900 R, you need to remove the fairing around the fuel tank. To do this, loosen the fixing screws located on the side and underneath the seat. Once the fairing is removed, you can slide the seat out from the area between the tank and the handlebars. After removing the old filter, insert a new replacement into its housing and reinstall the fairing around the tank, securing it with the screws.
