Today, we will go through the main instructions for removing and replacing the spark plugs on the BMW S1000 XR engine. First, place the bike on its centre stand and start by removing the side plastic fairings, unscrewing all the fastening screws; then remove the fuel tank as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the electrical connectors for the spark plugs and use a socket wrench with an extension to remove them, replacing them with new ones (of the correct type and with the same thread pitch); finally, reassemble the components that were previously removed!
