How to Remove the Switches of a BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

Carefully watch the video on removing the light switch of a BMW 3 Series. Use a trim tool to pry off the trim piece located at the top of the dashboard (above the light knob). Remove the screws securing the air vent with a screwdriver; once free from the screws, pull it out of the dashboard with a trim tool. Finally, unscrew the light switch assembly, remove it from the housing with a trim tool, and disconnect the power cable located at the center of the housing. To reassemble, follow these steps in reverse.
