To reset the window switch on a BMW 3 Series, fully raise the window until it reaches the highest position. Next, disconnect the connector located inside the door panel. Keep it disconnected for a few seconds to reset the window switch settings. At this point, reconnect it and check that the window raises and lowers correctly using the switch. Finally, reinstall the door panel.
