In this video we are shown how to reset the service light on the BMW I3. The procedure is very simple and takes less than 1 minute to complete. To perform the reset, you must first start the instrument panel without starting the engine, so without pressing the brake, then press and hold the button on the side of the panel for 10 seconds, at the end of the 10 seconds the maintenance menu will appear, select the maintenance option, once located press and hold the button for 5 seconds, you will be asked if you want to reset, confirm by pressing the button and release it when the reset begins. Once the reset is complete you can restart the instrument panel.
