Do you want to replace the shift knob on your BMW 3 Series? Let's see how to do it. First, grab the knob with both hands and pull it upward. Next, detach the leather boot cover from the edge of the center console using a plastic trim tool.

To install: take the boot and slide it onto the rod on the center console (if the boot is damaged, replace it with a new one), then, slide on the new knob and twist it until it locks into place. Finally, attach the clips of the leather boot onto the center console.
