Today's main steps will show us how to disassemble and replace the battery of the BMW Series 4 key remote. First, we take our remote and start by removing the physical key from inside it; then we pry open the plastic back cover of the remote using the slot created, thus accessing the battery compartment, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case a 3V CR 2450); we insert it in the correct direction and reassemble the plastic cover of the remote.
