To correctly and safely replace the button battery inside your BMW 4 Series key, simply follow this quick procedure. First, pull out the bottom part of the cover to remove the emergency key. Next, use the same key you just removed to open the cover and access the dead battery. Once located, replace it with a new compatible model (CR2450), and finally, reassemble everything, making sure to reinsert the emergency key.
