In this tutorial we can see how to reset the iDrive system in a BMW, an extremely simple and fast operation, to be done for example in case the system shows signs of malfunction or after activating unwanted settings. First of all, let's go inside the car, then turn on both the dashboard and the system. Next, press and hold the power button for at least 25 seconds, and when the display turns off, wait for the reboot to complete. Finally, check that any issues have been resolved.
