In this tutorial, you will see how to reset the IDrive 4 multimedia system in a BMW, a very simple and quick operation, for example, as a troubleshooting attempt or following a change of ownership. First, enter the cabin, then insert the key and turn on the instrument panel. Next, access the general menu using the controls on the centre console, enter "Settings", "Profiles", turn the knob to the right, and in the newly appeared menu, select "Delete all personal data". Once confirmed, just wait for the system to restart.
