How to replace the cabin air filter of the BMW X5 E70

In this article we will see how to replace the cabin air filter of the BMW X5 E70. In addition to the new filter, for this procedure you will need a 13 mm socket wrench. First, you need to open the hood and secure it with the appropriate locking rod. Once the hood is locked, you need to remove the fixing bolts of the cover located almost below the glass on the passenger side. Once the 3 fixing bolts are removed, remove the cover. Once the cover is removed, use the socket wrench to remove the 3 fixing bolts of the air filter block. Once the bolts are removed, remove the block. At this point, you will have access to the filters and can replace them. Once replaced, put them back in the appropriate housing and secure the previously removed bolts.
