How to remove and replace the key of a BMW X3? Let's see in this detailed video how to do it: take the key and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the key cover and the top plastic cap. Pry until the cover opens; remove the dead battery with a screwdriver; take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the cover on your remote by pressing until you hear the locking click. Finally, insert the metal key into the remote. Check the proper functioning of the remote.
