In this short guide, we will see how to manually open the locked trunk hatch of the BMW X3, in simple and quick steps. First, open the rear door and start lowering the backrests, thus accessing the inside of the trunk compartment; then use a thin tool like a flathead screwdriver to insert it and then push it into the slot of the trunk latch, as shown in the video. At this point, push the rear hatch to open it, then restore the operation of the trunk hatch latch.
