Windshield Wiper Blade Rubber Replacement

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003

You can purchase aftermarket wiper blade rubber refills instead of the entire blade and refurbish the original ones.
Disconnect the locking mechanism of the blade from the wiper arm and remove it.
Slide the old rubber off the blade by releasing or folding back the locking tabs; insert the new rubber by sliding the side guides into the anchor points until the full length of the blade is reached and secure the locking tabs (it is recommended to tighten a guide arch with pliers).
Finally, reconnect the blade to the wiper arm, securing the locking mechanism.
