How to Close the Sunroof of a BMW X3 E83 in an Emergency

In this video, learn how to close the sunroof of a BMW X3 E83 in an emergency, such as when both windows remain partially open. There is a simple way to close it. Inside the overhead console, you will find a hex key, which must be operated using the special "Z" shaped key shown in the video, part of the onboard tools. This key is located with the other tools in the trunk of the vehicle. Insert this tool, which is just a key, into the hex socket, and use it to close the sunroof. If it remains open, it is usually because the rear window is still up, and you can manually put it back in place; use the "Z" key, inserting it into a hole located on the left side of the guide, and push firmly towards the rear of the vehicle; then repeat on the right side. Do this first, then close it using the crank above the overhead console.
