How to Reset the Oil Change Light on a BMW 1 Series

Let's see how to reset the service light on a BMW 1 Series: turn on the ignition and locate the button under the speedometer on the left side of the dashboard. Press and hold this button until the maintenance menu appears on the central screen. Once in the menu, click the same button twice to scroll through the various options (brakes, fluids, etc.). Continue scrolling until you select the icon or option indicating the oil change. At this point, press and hold the button again. A confirmation message "execute the reset?" will appear on the screen. While holding the button, a progress bar (or countdown) will appear. Finally, the message "reset successful" will display.
