In this tutorial, see how to replace the cabin fan in the BMW 3 Series, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure the instrument cluster is off for safety. Then, go to the passenger side, remove the two indicated screws using a T20 Torx wrench, and take off the lower cover of the glove compartment. Next, disconnect both the courtesy light connector and the fan connector, rotate the fan counterclockwise, and pull it out of the housing. Now, simply insert the replacement and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
