Replacing the transfer case gears on a BMW X3
Model: BMW X5
E53
- Years 1999-2006
Let's start with the disassembly of the transfer case motor which transfers part of the torque on the four wheels of the car which is housed at the end of the gearbox. Now let's see how to replace any damaged components. We start by separating the electric motor and the actuator which are joined by four Torx head screws. We then remove the stop in the center of the gears and the internal washer and also the front metal plate. At this point the entire internal gear can be disassembled and we can separate the toothed wheel which meshes with the worm screw which in turn is housed on the shaft of the electric motor.

How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter in a 2008 Volkswagen Fox
The operation of replacing the cabin pollen filter in the Volkswagen Fox takes about fifteen minutes. First, locate the filter housing inside the cabin. In this case, it is situated on the passenger side, beneath the glove compartment (as indicated by the red arrow in the images). Specifically, the air filter housing is positioned on the left side. Once located, open the cover by sliding the two rings found on the cover itself from the outside to the inside (see images) and remove it. At this point, pull down the filter housing and extract the air filter from its housing. This operation should be performed every 9,000 miles or at least once a year. by ScegliAuto More videos
