Replacing the A/C fan on a BMW 3 Series? Open the hood and start removing the plastic cover under the windshield. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws around the perimeter of the cover. Once this is done, disconnect the power wires from above the fan. Remove the fan from its housing. Insert the new fan, connect the electrical terminals, and tighten the screws. Reinstall the cover over the fan and secure it with the screws. Start the vehicle and check the operation.
