Replacing the Cabin Light Bulb in a BMW X3

Model: BMW X3 MK 1, E83 - Years 2003-2010

Of course, before proceeding to replace the cabin light bulb in the BMW X3 (and as should be done for any maintenance operation on a vehicle), position the car on a level surface or on a lift. This is a precaution for safety and stability, to protect the operator performing the maintenance. At this point, using a screwdriver, remove the trim surrounding the black plate located just behind the cabin light fixture. Below, you will find screws that you should remove with the appropriate screwdriver. Finally, remove the entire block that contains the cabin light fixture from its housing. This way, you have access to the bulbs and can replace them.
