How to Remove the Steering Wheel from a BMW Z3?

Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your BMW Z3, then rotate the steering wheel ninety degrees to the left to access the rear screws that secure the airbag. Begin by unscrewing and removing these screws, then pull the airbag out of its housing. Once you have removed the airbag, disconnect the corresponding electrical connector, then take out the airbag itself. At this point, you will have access to the nut that secures the steering wheel to the steering column, which you need to unscrew and remove. Once this step is completed, you can remove the steering wheel, and the disassembly will be finished.
