BMW X1 Key Battery Replacement

Model: BMW X1 F48 - Years 2015-2022

Press the side button to remove the manual key from the remote. Use a small flathead screwdriver or a similar tool (the manual key works too) to pry open the space left by the manual key, splitting the remote in half. Voila! You will now see the sought-after battery. It is a CR2032 3 Volt battery, easily found at any hardware store or large supermarkets. Pry it out from underneath with the flathead screwdriver and insert the new one. Reassemble the remote, and you're done.
