Before you begin, open the trunk of your BMW 3 Series to easily access the license plate bulb. Start by prying and removing the license plate light housing using a flathead screwdriver. Next, pull the bulb out of its housing. Once you complete this step, you will have finished the disassembly. To install the new bulb, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
