How to Remove the Cabin Fan in a BMW X3

Model: BMW X3 MK 1, E83 - Years 2003-2010
Part: Blower motor

Before you can start, open the front door of your BMW X3. Begin by removing the front windshield wipers by unscrewing the mounting bolts. After that, remove the under cover. This will give you access to the cabin fan cover. Proceed to unclip and remove the cover. At this point, unscrew and remove the screws securing the fan, then pull it out of its housing. Once you complete this step, disconnect the electrical connector, and the disassembly will be complete.
