Replacing the Remote Key Battery on the BMW X3 E83 MK1

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to disassemble and replace the battery of the remote key on the BMW X3 E83, first generation, as well as on the X5 and the Series 3 E46. First, take your remote and use something thin to pry open the sides to separate it into two parts; then remove the circuit board and the battery found inside, as shown in the video. At this point, extract and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (3V); simply insert it in the correct direction and properly reassemble the remote!
