In this video tutorial we will see how to remove and replace the remote control key battery on the BMW X3 E83, first series, but also on the X5 and the 3 Series E46. First of all we take our remote control in hand and start by levering the sides with something thin to open it in two parts; then we remove the electronic board and the battery that we find inside it, as shown in the video. At this point we extract and replace the battery with the new one, of the right type (3V); we just have to insert it in the correct direction and assemble the remote control correctly!
