How to Remove the Lock Cylinder from a BMW 3 Series?

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

To remove the lock cylinder from a BMW 3 Series, open the door and remove the silicone cap located near the inner door seal to access the screw underneath. Next, insert a screwdriver into the lock from the outside of the door to extract the cylinder. Once removed, you can repair it following the instructions in the tutorial or replace it. Then, the new or repaired cylinder can be reinserted into its housing and secured by tightening the screw from the inside of the door.
