How to Remove the Water Pump

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003

To begin the water pump removal process, first position a container under the radiator to catch any fluid, as shown in the video. Next, remove the air reservoir and hose, then take off the timing belt. To remove the water pump, unscrew the bolts that hold it in place. After that, clean the area where the pump was located. To install the new pump, reconnect the joint that was removed earlier and tighten the bolts securely. Reinstall the hoses as they were before disassembly and also reattach the timing belt.
