To replace the interior handle of the BMW 3 Series, remove the chrome trim located above the handle. This will allow you to loosen the screws underneath and detach the panel from the door.

This will give you access to the internal screws of the panel: by loosening those that secure the interior handle to the panel, you can completely remove it and replace it with a new part. After the new handle is installed on the panel, reattach the panel by tightening the appropriate screws and inserting the trim onto the handle.
