To access the mounting points of the windshield wiper arms, first open the hood for better maneuverability. The wipers are operated through a linkage that allows the wiper arm to follow a trajectory that ensures complete cleaning of the windshield with relatively small wipers. If you need to remove them, take off the caps protecting the nuts securing the arms: use a small screwdriver or a pick to pry them off. Once the caps are removed, simply unscrew the nuts and pull off the arms. When reassembling, pay attention to the positioning on the splines of the drive shaft.
