How to Reset the Service Light on the BMW X3 E83?

Resetting the service light on the BMW X3 E83 is very simple. First, insert the key without turning it. Press and hold the S/R button located at the bottom right of the speedometer, and simultaneously turn the key to position 1. Continue holding until the "reset" message appears on the display. At this point, press the button a second time; the reset message will start to blink. Release and press it quickly to confirm. Finally, turn off and turn on the instrument cluster to verify that the procedure was successful.
