Removing the Central Locking Module from BMW 3 Series E90

Follow these simple instructions to remove the central locking module from a BMW 3 Series E90. First, open the front door and remove the door panel by taking off the plastic covers and unscrewing the mounting screws. Once removed, disconnect the electrical connectors at the back and take off the panel covering to access the lock module. Next, extract the handle by unscrewing the side screw of the door and also unscrew the screw of the module, pulling it out from inside the door. Finally, disconnect the electrical connector and replace it!

If the central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf 4 is not working, it is likely necessary to reset the system: to do this, open the driver's door and detach the side panel of the dashboard next to the steering wheel.
