Removing Trim and Molding from the Body

In some cases, for body repairs or interior coverings, it is advisable to remove seals, trim, or molding along the body. These moldings are mostly snap-fit, attached to clips, and in some cases paired with seals. Generally, it is always necessary to exercise caution when removing these trims to avoid damaging the body and ideally use tools specifically designed for this type of work. Typically, you just need to position the tool at the base of the trim and pry upward, sometimes at multiple points, until the molding is completely freed.
