Operation: Installing the engine air filter

The function of the engine air filter is to protect the latter by retaining impurities from the air flow. The air filter is closed in a hermetic case made watertight by a contact with the rubber edge. The air filter should be changed regularly to ensure that it does not clog and blocks air from entering the engine. Once its position inside the car has been identified, open the used filter box, remove and clean the bottom of the box from all residues with a vacuum cleaner or a damp cloth. Once this is done you can proceed to install the new filter purchased.
