How to Perform the Service and Reset the Service Light on the BMW 3 Series 320d

To perform the service and reset the service light on the BMW 3 Series 320d (to perform the service, watch the video from the beginning; if you only need to reset, go to minute 36:37), first turn on the ignition. Press and hold the button on the left side of the instrument cluster until the triangle symbol with an exclamation point appears. On the turn signal lever, there is a lever that moves up or down; push it up until the oil symbol appears. Press the BC button on the left side of the turn signal lever. The word "reset" will appear; hold it until the clock symbol appears. After the reset, the new mileage (indicating when the next service is due) will show up. Perform a second reset by using the lever on the turn signal to navigate to the car symbol with a symbol in front. Press the BC button on the left side of the same lever, and a box will appear on the month numbers. Scroll up with the same lever to set the month to 12, confirm with the BC button, and a box will appear for the year. Scroll up with the lever until the year is set to 2022, then press the BC button. A clock will appear, and after the reset, the new date will show. Move the lever up to find another red symbol and a date, and set it to match the previous reset date (12/2022). The video shows additional resets, but for safety, it is preferable to perform them only when the check has actually been completed.
