Before proceeding with disassembly, shift the gear lever backward to gain more working space. Replacing the air conditioning control panel is very simple; this device is secured to the center console with metal spring tabs located on the sides: just leverage the side of the panel with a small flathead screwdriver to compress the spring and allow for removal.

Once removed from its location, disconnect the connectors (one has a bayonet lock, while the other has the classic push tab). Then connect the connectors to the new panel, perform a functionality check, and snap it into place.
