To remove the trim from the driver side door pillar, first remove the inner seal where the window slides. Fully lower the window and pull out a section of the seal at the point where it is easiest to grasp; at this point, pull the seal from its slot, completely removing it. Once the seal is removed, you can access the mounting screws for the pillar trim.

Removing the pillar can be useful for restoring it, as it often tends to fade due to sunlight or cleaning detergents.
