Instructions for Removing the Front Fender

Model: BMW Serie 5 E61, E60 - Years 2003-2010

If you need to remove the front fender, start by lifting the vehicle on appropriate jack stands and removing the front wheel. Next, remove the wheel well liner by disengaging the clips (press the pins inside) and the mounting screws. Once the wheel well liner is removed, locate the fender mounting bolts on both the door side and the bumper side. Open the door to access the bolts that secure the fender to the pillar, and then open the hood to unscrew the bolts along the closure line, right on the edge of the fender. Finally, disengage the side marker light and complete the removal by taking off the fender.
